Boys basketball: Priceville picks up wins over Danville, Arab

Priceville 60, Danville 51
The Bulldogs’ defense controlled the second quarter in holding Danville to two points after the Hawks had a 22-15 lead following the first quarter. Priceville outscored Danville 15-2 in the second to take a 30-24 lead at halftime.

Cole Lindeman finished with 23 points and five rebounds to lead Priceville. Sammy Holmes added 18 points and eight rebounds.

AJ Holladay finished with 19 points to lead Danville, while Gage Taylor added 11.

New Hope 56, Brewer 45
Brewer dropped a 56-45 game to New Hope. The Patriots trailed 24-18 at halftime.

Austyn Holmes finished with 16 points to lead Brewer. Mac Shadden added 13 points.

Wyatt Bolden led New Hope with 15 points, while Dawson Cambron scored 13.

Thursday
Falkville 62, St. Bernard 30

The Falkville Blue Devils picked up a 62-30 win over St. Bernard.

Dawson Fowler finished with 13 points to lead Falkville. Cayden Butler added nine points, while Caden Burnett had eight points.

Tuesday
Priceville 54, Arab 41

The Bulldogs jumped to a 19-5 first-quarter lead in their 54-41 win over Arab. They led 31-17 at halftime.

Sammy Holmes finished with 13 points to lead Priceville. Jake Langlois added 12 points and nine rebounds. Tyler Case had eight points and Luke Hood scored seven.

Danville 62, Addison 61
The Hawks edged Addison 62-61. They led 34-29 at the half.

AJ Holladay finished with 29 points to lead Danville. Gage Taylor added 14.

Jed Wilkins scored 17 points to lead Addison.

Monday
East Limestone 56, Priceville 55

The Bulldogs lost 56-55 on the road at East Limestone. They had a shot at the buzzer to win but fell short.

Sammy Holmes finished with 27 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to lead Priceville.

West Morgan 51, Danville 33
Danville fell 51-33 to West Morgan. They trailed 22-21 at the half.

Hunter Baker finished with 11 points to lead Danville, while Gage Taylor scored nine.

Carson Muse scored 28 points to lead West Morgan. Isaac Ward added 11 points.
