Hartselle wrestling finishes third in state duals

The Hartselle wrestling team finished third in the state duals with a 36-35 win over Wetumpka this past Friday in Birmingham.
The Tigers (17-2) got victories from Jacob Doshier (106), Gage Roberts (126), Lincoln Bryant (132), Payton Roberts (152), Gage Ownby (160), Andrii Tymchenko (170) and Jameson Falciani (182.)
Hartselle advanced to the third-place match after wins over Mae Jemison, 53-27, and Fort Payne, 60-18. In the semifinals, the Tigers lost to Mortimer Jordan, 46-19.
