Title: “Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard”
Author: Tom Felton

Tom Felton didn’t have a normal childhood. He started out in the film industry at a young age. Doing commercials and small roles in movies. It wasn’t until Tom landed that role as the infamous Draco Malfoy, when Tom started to really gain celebrity status. Through his childhood and on to the ten years playing his most famous role to date, and beyond, Tom Felton’s candor about his life this far is raw. He shares about his struggles and his successes in life and the industry. Tom recounts some of his most beloved colleagues and friends, and the impact they made on him.

Any wizard and muggle alike will surely enjoy this real and entertaining memoir of someone we loved to hate through the role he played. But, there’s more to this incredibly talented man than meets the eye. Pick it up at the library to read for yourself.

Book: “When He Was Wicked”
Author: Julia Quinn

Francesca Bridgerton is the sixth child of eight. Newly married to the love of her life, John Sterling, she thinks she has finally gained independence for her very large family. However, tragedy strikes. Only two years into their marriage, John dies suddenly in his sleep. She spends the next four years in mourning and believing she will never love another. All the while, John’s cousin and notorious rake has been hiding out in India because he thought running away would help hide his biggest secret. He has been in love with Francesca since before she married John. These two keep getting thrown together when they are back in London for the upcoming season. Will Francesca learn that love happens more than once and will Michael learn that loving Francesca doesn’t disrespect his late cousin?

This is the sixth book within the Bridgerton Series. Although, it can be read as a standalone. This book can be found in the Library, on Hoopla, and on Libby.
