Boys Standouts

Kohl Key, Hartselle: Key finished with a career-high 22 points while hitting six three-pointers to lead Hartselle past 7A Oak Mountain 77-64 in the first round of the Metro Tournament. He averaged 15 ppg with 4.3 three-pointers per game during the three-day tournament.

Ryan Dunn, Hartselle: Dunn scored 17 points in Hartselle’s 66-59 loss to Homewood in the semifinals of the Metro Tournament. He averaged 14 ppg during the three-day tournament.

Rylan Smothers, Hartselle: Smothers finished with 14 points and eight rebounds in a 60-55 loss to Clay-Chalkville in the third-place game of the Metro Tournament. He averaged 10.3 ppg and 6.7 rpg during the three-day tournament.

Kiah Key, Hartselle: Key finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 60-55 loss to Clay-Chalkville in the third-place game of the Metro Tournament. He averaged 11 ppg and 6.3 rpg during the three-day tournament.

Cole Lindeman, Priceville: Lindeman finished with 19 points and five steals in a 65-53 loss to Russellville in the first round of the Bracy Invitational Tournament. He averaged 14.3 ppg and three spg during the three-day tournament.

Sammy Holmes, Priceville: Holmes finished with 16 points while hitting four three-pointers in a 43-23 win over West Limestone on the final day of the Bracy Invitational Tournament. He averaged 13.3 ppg and 3.3 three-pointers per game during the three-day tournament.

Jackson Dunn, Brewer: Dunn finished with 21 points in a 66-63 loss to Hanceville on the first day of the West Morgan Holiday Classic. He averaged 15 ppg during the three-day tournament.

A.J. Holladay, Danville: Holladay finished with 21 points in a 62-45 win over South Lamar on the second day of the Bracy Invitational Tournament.

Gage Taylor, Danville: Taylor scored 17 points in a 90-56 loss to Deshler in the first round of the Bracy Invitational Tournament.

Girls Standouts

Ellie Cate Hill, Falkville: Hill finished with 28 points, five rebounds and five steals in a 65-42 win over Russellville at the West Morgan Holiday Classic. She averaged 21 ppg during the three-day classic.

Leslie Hames, Priceville: Hames finished with 25 points in a 60-44 win over 2A No. 3 Mars Hill at the Keith Davis Memorial Tournament. She averaged 19 ppg in two games last week.

Abby Langlois, Priceville: Langlois finished with 12 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in a 60-44 win over 2A No. 3 Mars Hill at the Keith Davis Memorial Tournament.

Hannah Burks, Hartselle: Burks, an eighth-grader, finished with career-high 16 points in a 57-31 win over 7A Albertville at the Supreme Courts Christmas Tournament.

Mary Frances Itsede, Hartselle: Itsede finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds in a 51-48 overtime win over Franklin County (TN) at Border Wars in Athens.

Lauren Hames, Priceville: Hames finished with 16 points in a 58-45 loss to Wayne County (TN) at the Keith Davis Memorial Tournament.

Daily Alberti, Danville: Alberti finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in a 46-33 loss to Russellville at the West Morgan Holiday Classic.

Maddie Sherrill, Danville: Sherrill finished with 14 points in a 58-51 win over Decatur at the West Morgan Holiday Classic.
