The Priceville Bulldogs and Brewer Patriots picked up their first wins of the season this week as basketball got started.

Priceville 47, Rogers 38
Cole Lindeman’s game-high 17 points led Priceville (1-1) to a 47-38 win over Rogers on the first day of the Marx Optical Thanksgiving Tournament.

Sammy Holmes finished with 11 points, while Jake Langlois added six points, eight rebounds and six steals.

Malachi Davis led Rogers with 16 points and eight rebounds.

East Limestone 61, Priceville 55
Priceville opened the season with a 61-55 loss to East Limestone. Lindeman had a game-high 18 points in the loss.

Tyler Case finished with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Holmes had 12 points.

Brewer 64, Randolph 49
Brewer had four players finish in double-digits in their 64-49 win over Randolph in the Marx Optical Christmas Tournament. The Patriots (2-2) were led by Austyn Holmes’ game-high 16 points.

Jackson Dunn and Mac Shadden scored 14 points each, while Kade George added 10 points.

Randolph was led by Brayden Fogarty and Theo Reischauer who had 10 points each.

West Morgan 47, Brewer 30
Dunn scored 11 points in Brewer’s 47-30 loss to West Morgan. George and Shadden added five points each.

Carson Muse finished with a game-high 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead West Morgan, while Byron Parrish scored eight.

Brewer 56, Danville 47
Brewer had four players score double-digits in the Patriots’ 56-47 win over Danville.

Dunn led Brewer with 13 points, while Shadden had 12 points,11 rebounds and six assists each. George and Holmes finished with 10 points each.

Gage Taylor and Aiden Holladay each had 14 points to lead Danville. Taylor also had a team-high seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Benjamin Ellenburg finished with 12 points and three steals.

Hatton 69, Danville 62
Taylor and Holladay combined for 34 points in the Hawks’ 69-62 loss to Hatton.

Danville led 32-32 at halftime and 53-48 heading into the fourth quarter.

K. Little led Hatton with a game-high 21 points, while B. Staford added 18 points in the Hornets’ win.
