Trick or treat: Community Halloween activities announced

The members of Shady Grove Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Trunk or Treat and chili/soup dinner Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate and have as many decorated trunks as possible for the community event. They will have sign up sheets for this activity at the church. 

Danville Baptist Church will be hosting their annual Trunk or Treat Trail Oct. 30 from 5:30-7 p.m. They will have cotton candy, popcorn, drinks and lots of candy! Everyone is invited to attend. Morgan County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse news The Morgan County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse is pleased to announce their Turkey Shoot fundraiser dates as follows: Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, Dec. 3 and 10. The location for the fundraiser shoot will be 1801 Vest Rd. in Hartselle from 8:30 a.m. until noon. The shoots will be for a turkey, ham and money shots.  

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse are holding a Dine To Donate fundraiser night Nov. 1 from 3-9:30 P.M.  till 9:30 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse in Decatur. The money will be used to help with their program to help our special needs community. All proceeds from these fundraisers go to benefit charity programs in the community.
