How we met:

I’m a hairstylist. Logan called the salon one day needing an appointment for a haircut. Another girl had cut his hair a few times, but he needed an appointment for a Saturday, and the girl who had been cutting his hair didn’t work Saturdays – but I did. So, I took him on as a client. We always talked so much, and then one day he asked me out.

The proposal:

One of my favorite places in the world is the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center. Logan decided we needed to go there one weekend, and I wasn’t going to say no. We got there and toured a little. I took a picture of us next to the big rocket. I was looking at the pictures to see how I liked them, and he told me to turn around. When I did, he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the quickest yes of my life!

The wedding dress:

I went to The Something Blue Shoppe thinking I would never make a decision that day on a dress. I tried on four or five. As soon as my consultant put on “the” dress, I said yes because I knew it was the one.

Favorite moment from the big day:

Our favorite moment was getting to see each other at the altar for the first time. We chose not to do a first look, and I’m so glad we didn’t!

Favorite wedding detail:

My bouquet with both of my grandmothers’ “mother’s” rings tied into it.
