Tiger football plays 7-on-7, hosts Florence to close out June

The Tigers football team closed out June by playing in the Huntsville Sports Commission 7-on-7 and then hosting the Florence Falcons. 

The Tigers played in the first Huntsville High School 7-on-7 hosted by the Huntsville Sports Commission on June 29. They finished the day with a 6-1 record.  

The Tigers were 4-0 in pool play with wins over Sparkman, Bob Jones 2, and Westminster Christian. In tournament play, they defeated Mae Jemison and Randolph before falling to Hazel Green in the semifinals. 

On June 30 the Tigers hosted Florence for a scrimmage. Coach Bryan Moore got to see his offense and defense in 11-on-11 situations against the 7A Flacons, coached by Wade Waldrop. 

Corn Fundraiser 

The Tigers football team had another successful corn fundraiser this year. The Tigers left the school early Monday morning for a day of corn picking at Anders Farm.
