Serve Day returns July 10

Special to the Enquirer

Serve Day, a community service day when churches and organizations across Hartselle come together to share the love of God through practical acts of kindness, will be held this year July 10.

Serve Day is open to anyone who wants to help, according to the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will begin at The Depot, located at 110 Railroad St. SW, at 7:30 a.m., kicking off with breakfast and a pep rally. Teams will then disperse to complete projects of their choosing throughout the Hartselle area.

Each volunteer will receive a free Serve Day T-shirt, courtesy of Hartselle Family Dentistry; breakfast courtesy of State Rep. Scott Stadthagen; and lunch courtesy of Redstone Federal Credit Union.

For more information, visit hartsellechamber.com or call at 256-773-4370.
