Hartselle Police Chief Justin Barley (left) presents Herb Statham with a framed, commemorative police badge June 17. Statham is the president of the Hartselle Police Academy Alumni Association. The organization donated the 150th anniversary badges to the Hartselle Police Department this past year but was unable to present them in a public setting because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Barley said the framed badge was a way to show the association appreciation for the badges.
