Sonoco signs TigerLaunch graduates

Signing day for 10 recent TigerLaunch graduates takes place May 20 at the Sonoco TigerLaunch facility: (from left) Eric Glover of Brewer High School and JJ Miller, Marco Romero, AJ Reeves, Ty Dozier, Hunter Pangle, Skyler Myrick and Eric Fowler of Hartselle High School. Not pictured are Brody Tapscott of Hartselle High School and Kevin Curtis of Falkville High School. These 10 students have accepted jobs with Sonoco. Some were chosen for a new advanced production degree program developed by Sonoco and Calhoun Community College.  These graduates will work three days a week and attend classes two days a week while completing their degrees.  Others will work around college schedules while they pursue degrees, and others accepted full-time positions in the Sonoco company. Each student was presented with graduation gifts plus a $500 signing bonus.
