Cady Hensley & Blane Willingham – October 24, 2020

Photos by Lauren Coffey Photography

How You Met: Blane and I met through mutual friends at No Fences Cowboy Church in Falkville. In 2015 the church had a Foot Rodeo, where Blane actually had to pull me off of a roping steer.

The Proposal: Fast forward to June 6, 2020. Blane gathered many of our friends on a group trail ride to a waterfall to swim. There, he surprised me and asked me to marry him, which was the easiest yes ever. We did not want a long engagement, so we set the date for Oct. 24, 2020, and began planning.

Favorite Moment from the Big Day: Our wedding day was perfect, but my favorite part had to be during our first look pictures. Blane had a Kendra Scott necklace engraved with my initials he surprised me with. Our day was filled with thoughtfulness and love. We were so happy and so thankful for our family and friends who made our special day perfect. All of our family and friends were a huge help. Kim Humphries, Shari Cain and Molly Nance did an amazing job decorating, and we loved all the details.  Lauren Coffey took the best wedding and engagement pictures.
