Robbie Case becomes president of Alabama Independent Automotive Dealers Association
Robbie Case, owner of Robert’s Auto Sales in Hartselle, was recently elected president of the Alabama Independent Automotive Dealers Association.
A mechanic by trade, Case has been in business in Hartselle for 20 years in March. He said he was humbled by the election first to the board of directors of the AIADA and now to the position of president.
“I’ve come a long way from where I started,” Case said. “My friends and I say ‘We’re just good country folk,’ but we’ve survived and made good livings.”
Case was awarded the Quality Dealer of the Year award in 2020, which he said came as a huge surprise. “This all rolled in all at the same time … All the work I’ve put in is showing now,” he said. “I’m humbled my peers think so much of me – to know people recognize what you’re doing and appreciate it.”
Robert’s Auto Sales is a “buy here, pay here” dealership that offers in-house financing for customers who have trouble getting loans through other avenues, and Case said he likes that, through his business, he’s able to help people and give back to the community.
The AIADA is the sixth-largest Independent Automotive Dealers Association in the country, according to CEO Randy Jones.
