Hartselle High School announces the cancellation of the Encore Classic

Hartselle High School has announced that the upcoming Encore Classic, originally scheduled for November 21, 24, and 25 has been canceled.

The decision was made following an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in North Alabama.

“The health and safety of all teams and fans coming to the Classic is our first priority”, said Hartselle Assistant Principal Pat Smith.

Over 60 varsity and junior varsity teams were scheduled to play in the three-day event.

Hartselle will play Madison Academy at 11 am on November 21 and is working to schedule a game for November 24.
