Hopewell Baptist Church to host spaghetti dinner

The children’s class at Hopewell Baptist Church will host a spaghetti dinner Nov. 8 after the morning service. The dinner is free; however, donations will be accepted for the building fund.  

Danville school appreciates bus drivers  

The Danville High School staff expresses appreciation to their bus drivers this week. The bus drivers are listed as follows: Jean Skinner, Tammy StoverWendy Pike, Rachel Patterson, Michelle Hogan, Christy Casteel, Ali Hill, Amy Galleon, Connie Borden, Sherry Glenn, Vonnie Sparkman, Lisa Dunn, Stewart Terry, Nonnie Eady and Maxine Kirby.  

Corinth West Baptist Church Event  

The members of Corinth West Baptist Church recently hosted a pastor appreciation for their pastor, Glenn Miller. Brother Miller appreciated all of the many gifts from those attending. Congratulations to Falkville High School Advanced Placement 

Congratulations go out this week to the Falkville High School AP teachers and students on their success during the 2019-2020 school year. The following students received a score of three or higher on their AP exams, earning them a college credit and a $100 gift card from the Alabama A+ Organization: Taylor Hart for English language/composition, Haley Owens for English language/composition, Wyatt Tomlin for U.S. history, Sydnee Fitzgerald for English language/composition as well as biology and U.S. History and Riley Carroll for English literature/composition as well as statistics and biology 

The outstanding AP teachers are Tracy Stoudnour for English language, Angie Tomlin for English literature, Haley Roberts for statistics, Laura Moore for biology and Debbie Lopez for U.S. history.
