Area football games moved to Thursday night

All area high school football games have been moved to Thursday night due to the forecast of heavy rain due to Hurricane Delta.

Delta is expected to make landfall sometime Friday on the Gulf Coast, bringing with it heavy rain and strong wind gusts.

Hartselle, Falkville, Danville, and Priceville will all be playing their home games on Thursday night.

Hartselle (4-3, 2-2) will be hosting Muscle Shoals (5-1, 4-0) in a pivotal game in 6A Region 8.

Falkville (6-0, 3-0) will host Tanner (4-3, 2-2) in a 2A Region 7 matchup while Danville (1-5, 0-3) will host Elkmont (0-7, 0-4).

Priceville (5-1, 3-1) welcomes Central-Florence (6-1, 3-1) to Bulldog Stadium for a game that will have a big impact on playoff seeding in 4A Region 8.

The Brewer (0-7, 0-4) at Mae Jemison (1-5, 1-2) game was already scheduled to be played on Thursday night.
