Hartselle neighborhood ‘backs the blue’

Neighbors in the Hickory Heights subdivision in Hartselle support local law enforcement and they came together Saturday night to ‘back the blue’ with a parade that involved more than 100 homes. Porch lights were lit up blue as police departments from Hartselle, Priceville and Decatur drove through the neighborhood with lights flashing. Many people stood in driveways with balloons and welcome signs.
