What’s Popp’N donates money to Morgan schools through end of October

Hartselle’s gourmet popcorn and shaved ice shop is doing its part to help schools in Morgan County through a promotion that will run through the end of October.

For every purchase of shaved ice made now through Oct. 31, What’s Popp’N will donate $1 to a school in Morgan County of the customer’s choosing.

“All the customer needs to do is tell us which school the money should go to,” co-owner Norm Stoddart said. “Normally we do shaved ice at many of these schools, and it is an important fundraiser for them  especially the physical education departments.

It’s a struggle for everyone right now – schools and small businesses alike – so we try to help out whenever we can.”

What’s Popp’N is located at 307 Main St., Hartselle, and is open Thursday and Friday from noon until 4 p.m. and Saturday from noon until 5 p.m.
