Enon Baptist Church AWANA Celebration

The members of Enon Baptist Church had a “drive-through” AWANA celebration June 28 under the church portico to celebrate the children and all of their hard work this past year.

The children worked hard from August 2019 through March 2020 to memorize Bible verses and books of the Bible. The AWANA year was cut a little short, but the students deserved to be rewarded for all the hard work they put in.

Many students and their families came through to receive their awards, gifts and a tasty snow cone treat.

They also had several volunteers help with the celebration. Those participating were Ashley Lawrence, Malea Atkins, Tanya Alexander, Penny Sterling, Kristen Ledbetter, Hannah Ledbetter, Kendra Logan, Rita Wilson, Karen Capps, Terri Jackson, Jon Mangino, T.J. Green, Bro. Steve Ledbetter, Reta Ledbetter and Meshae Bogue.

The AWANA group is a wonderful ministry in the church.
