Working off a citizen’s tip, county deputies – assisted by the Falkville Police Department – attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant at a home on Pine Street in Falkville. 

When deputies arrived, Randy Marion McAbee, 56, of Falkville was standing in the front yard and ran from authorities. Deputies chased McAbee over a couple fences and into neighbor’s yard, where he was apprehended on East Pike Street in Falkville. 

McAbee was transported to Morgan County Jail and booked without incident on a failure to appear and breaking/entering into a vehicle warrant.
