Traffic stop leads to arrest

May 27, investigator Tania Burgess arrested Jonathan Paul Grantland, 33, for obscuring the identity of a vehicle when she discovered alterations to Grantland’s vehicle’s VIN.
A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle Grantland was driving for no tag. Upon further investigation, it was discovered Grantland had allegedly removed the VIN plate, located on the dash, from the vehicle, exchanging it with a VIN plate from a similar vehicle.
Bond was set at $2,500.
