Local players make AL.com’s ‘Terrific 20’ baseball, softball teams

Statewide news outlet al.com recently released its Terrific 20 for baseball and softball in each classification for the shortened 2020 season. Hartselle, Danville and Falkville each had players named in their respective classifications. 

Baseball 

Hartselle’s Elliott Bray, a sophomore, was named to the 6A team as a pitcher. He has committed to Auburn University. 

Falkville junior Wyatt King was named to the 1A team. 

Softball 

Hartselle’s Jada Henderson, a junior catcher, and Larissa Preuitt, a sophomore outfielder, were named to the 6A team. 

Danville seniors Emma Broadfoot and Madilyn Holladay were named to the 4A team. Broadfoot has signed with the University of North Alabama to continue her softball career. 

Falkville junior Sydnee Fitzgerald was named to the 1A team.
