Morgan superintendent selected for Tennessee job
Morgan County Schools Superintendent Bill Hopkins was selected today for a new position with Fayetteville City Schools in Fayetteville, Tenn.
Hopkins, who has been in the Morgan school system for three decades, will be the new Director of Schools. The announcement came this morning when FCS held a special-called meeting.
“The Morgan County School Board congratulates Superintendent Bill W. Hopkins Jr. on accepting a new position as Director of Schools in Fayetteville, Tenn.,” Lisa Screws, Communications Specialist with MCS, said in an email. “We thank him for his 30 years of service with the Morgan County school system, as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent.”
