Hartselle’s Foote Commits to UT-Martin

Hartselle senior Hawken Foote has committed to run cross country and track for the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Foote recently won the 6A 800 meter state championship and was part of the 6A 4×400 meter relay state championship at the AHSAA Indoor Championships.
He picked up All-State honors in the 800 meter run with a third-place finish and was part of the 4×800 meter relay team that picked up All-State honors at the Outdoor State Championships in 2019.
He lost a chance at the Outdoor State Championships due to the spread of the coronavirus that led to the cancellation of the spring sports season.
