Hartselle couple dies after wreck

A two-vehicle crash at Saturday afternoon has claimed two lives.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Kenneth Harris Turner, 50, of Hartselle was seriously injured when the 2016 Mazda 6 he was driving collided head on with a 2014 Ford F250 driven by Hunter Scott Braswell, 24, of Hartselle, about 2:50 p.m. Saturday.
Turner and his wife, Wendi Zanda Turner, 51, were airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where they later died.
A juvenile passenger in the Mazda 6 was transported by ambulance to Huntsville Hospital. The driver of the Ford F-250 was not injured.
The crash occurred on Danville Road, four miles north of Danville. Nothing further is available as ALEA troopers continue to investigate.
