Painting with panache
Special to the Enquirer
Brewer High School art students Alana Cooper and Savannah Patterson volunteer at Eva Elementary March 6 to help students create Dr. Seuss–inspired artwork for the school’s Dr. Seuss Week. Students made artwork from the book “The Lorax,” which tackles the importance of taking care of the world and being responsible with the earth’s resources. Students made the Lorax using their hand prints and learned to draw Truffula trees. Art students from Brewer High School help each year during Dr. Seuss Week to support elementary students as they explore their own creativity through the arts.
