Hartselle wins four matches at Wilco tournament

The Lady Tigers volleyball team traveled to Franklin, Tenn., to participate in the 32-team Wilco Tournament at the A-Game Sports Complex last weekend.

Hartselle won its first four matches of the day by sweeping the competition. The Lady Tigers were eliminated in bracket play by Nolensville in a hard-fought three-set match. 

  • Match One: Hartselle defeated White House – Heritage 2-0 (5-15, 25-8).
  • Match Two: Hartselle defeated Summertown 2-0 (25-21, 25-16).
  • Match Three: Hartselle defeated Oakland 2-0 (25-8, 25-10).
  • Match Four: Hartselle defeated Camden Central 2-0 (25-18, 25-12). 
  • Match Five: Nolensville defeated Hartselle 2-1 (25-23, 21-25, 15-12).

Stat Leaders

  • Hailey Holshouser: 46 kills, 62 digs
  • Lillyanna Catee: 25 kills, 39 digs
  • Grace Leighton: 105 assists, 31 digs
  • Tori Hughes: 50 digs

Hartselle’s record is 33-5 on the season.
