Lady Patriots win two

 

Brewer 56, Decatur 29

Dec. 11 the Lady Patriots traveled to Decatur to face the Lady Red Raiders of Decatur High School. Brewer got off to a slow start in the first quarter and part of the second but started to settle down and, over the next quarter and a half, the Lady Patriots would go on a 25-5 run to take a 20-point lead into the fourth quarter.
Brewer was led by Hope West and Jacie Andrews, who scored a game-high 13 points apiece.
Indyia Swoopes scored eight points to lead the Lady Red Raiders.
Brewer improves to 7-3 on the season, while Decatur falls to 1-10.
Brewer 73, Guntersville 37
Dec. 14 the Lady Patriots hosted the Lady Wildcats of Guntersville High School.
The Lady Patriots were led by four players who scored in double digits in the win. McCarley Northway led Brewer with 15 points. Andrews and West each had 12 points, while Madison Adams added 10 points.
Brewer improved to 8-3 on the season.
