Tigers take down Bob Jones on the road

Hartselle traveled to Huntsville to take on 7A Bob Jones on Monday (12/10) to face the opposing Patriots.
The 2nd ranked Lady Tigers started off the night by pacing themselves to a 27-20 lead at the half, as Mariah Taylor managed to tack on twelve for Hartselle. The Tigers maintained hold of their lead through the night and took down Bob Jones by a score of 49-32, as Taylor accounted for 22 while Mackenzie Jackson and Masyn Marchbanks each were responsible for six points. Dena Guinn led Bob Jones in scoring with 12.
Following the girls matchup, the Hartselle Tigers boys were next up in the action taking on Bob Jones, and got off to a strong start with suffocating defense as they led by a score of 20-12 at the half. Hartselle managed to maintain hold of their lead as they finished the game off with a 47-38 victory, as Brody Peebles led the Tigers in scoring with 13, followed by Swoopes at 12. Taeshean Hicks led the Patriots with six points also.
The Lady Tigers move on to a perfect 8-0 record while the boys advance to 7-2 on the season.
