Funeral service for Phillip Eugene Borden, 72,was Thurs., July 27,
2017 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Newman
officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in in Forest
Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Borden died on Sun., July 23, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was
born February 24, 1945, in Morgan County to Blewett Benjaman Borden and
Cordell Elizabeth Walden Borden. He was a member of Oak Park Church of God
and was self employed as a painter and construction worker. He especially
loved his children and grandsons. He loved hunting and fishing. He was
preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his Wife, Martha Blagburn Borden, Somerville; Two Daughters,
April Michelle Borden Combs, Arizona, and Misty Dawn Borden Waddell, Somerville;
a brother, Temon Erskine Borden, Priceville; a sister, Wanda Faye Franks, Somerville;
three grandchildren: Jamie Allen Parker, Steven Augustus Waddell and Phillip Eli Briscoe;
a great grand child, Rogue Allen Parker.
