Arvella “Vel” Parker

Funeral service for Arvella “Vel” Parker, 79, was Sun., July 23, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Parker died Wed., July 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born Oct. 1, 1937, in Cullman County to Zecue Crozier Adams and Gladys Arcadia Pesnell Adams. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a member of the Hartelle
Church of Christ for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dewayne Adams.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Greer Parker of Hartselle; two daughters, Lisa Parker (Tony) of Hartselle and Jan Harris (Jeff) of Hartselle; two brothers, Huelee Adams (Carolyn) of Vinemont and Jerald Adams (Joyace) of Vinemont;
five grandchildren, Adam Parker, Jordan Parker (Charleston), Jeremy Harris (Lura), Josh Harris (Fiance’- Meagan)
Joy Haynes (James) and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Adam Parker, Jeremy Harris, Josh Harris, Jordan Parker, James Haynes and Jeff Johnson.
