Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 721 Pickens St. SW, will host a Free Outdoor Movie Night one night a month until October. On May 12 at 7:30 p.m. they will show “Sully”, on June 9 at 7:45 p.m. they will show “Sing”, on July 4 at 8 p.m. they will show “Priceless” on Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. they will show Mr. Popper’s Penguins, on Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. they will show “Thor” and on Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. they will show “The Finest Hour”. Popcorn and soda will be provided. The movies will be shown indoors during inclement weather. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Falkville First United Methodist Church, 253 E Main St. Falkville, Women of Worship: A day for women to join together in praise, prayer and fellowship Sat., April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be inspirational women speakers, praise and worship. Liberty Baptist Church, 1206 Lane Road NW, will have an Easter Egg Hunt and celebration Sat., April 8, at 2 p.m. Free to everyone of all ages. Hot dogs and drinks for everyone.

 

First Christian Church, 209 East Main St. in Hartselle holds the following services each Sunday: choir at 9 a.m., Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. The first Wednesday fellowship supper and second Wednesday communion service at Columbia Cottage and both are at 6:30 p.m. The church holds men’s prayer breakfasts and ladies’ night out devotional dinners.

 

Mt. Zion Baptist Church has Sunday school at 10 a.m. each Sunday with morning worship at 10:45 a.m., Sunday evening worship at 6 p.m. and Wednesday evening worship at 6:30 p.m.
