A graveside service for Tommy DeFoe, 67, was Fri., March 24, at 10 a.m. in Oak Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. DeFoe died Wed., March 22, 2017, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born July 7, 1949, in Morgan County to Acie Howard DeFoe and Martha Adaline Collins DeFoe.  He was employed at Wolverine Tube as a machine operator, prior to his retirement and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane DeFoe; his parents; and brothers, Frank and Harold DeFoe.

He is survived by a son, Jeff DeFoe of Hartselle; a daughter,Jennifer Free (Dustin) of Decatur; four sisters, Betty Warren, of Trinity, Sandra Morgan of Athens, Nancy Walker of Eva, and Sue Clemons of Priceville and a grandchild, Garrett Free.
