Funeral for Clarence J. Jaquess, 86, of Hartselle was Tues., Jan. 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in New Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Jaquess died Wed., Jan. 4, 2017, at his residence.  He was
born Nov. 30, 1930, in Colbert County to Dee Jaquess and Anna Kate
Conley Jaquess.  He was a heavy equipment manager for 23 years for Peabody Coal Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Jaquess; and a sister, Mary Alice Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Joan Jaquess of Hartselle; two sons, Richard C. Jaquess  (Vickie) of Illinois and Mark (Tony) Jaquess  (Kerry), of Wyoming; a daughter, Vicky Stewart (Mike) of Wyoming; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
