Funeral for Bertie Russell, 98, will be Wed. (today), Jan. 11,
at 2 p.m. at Corinth Methodist Church with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery.

Mrs. Russell died Sat., Jan. 7, 2017, at Regional Medical Center in
Anniston.  She was born April 30, 1918, in Lawrence County to Frank
Osborn and Mary Dobbs Osborn.  She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife,
mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace E.
Russell and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Euin Russell (Becky) of Lincoln; a daughter, Glenda McAbee of Douglasville, Ga.; three brothers, Palmer Osborn of Decatur, William Osborn of Chicago, Ill. and Doyle Osborn, of Hartselle; two sisters, Leanna Denton of Decatur and
June Clark of Priceville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren
