Funeral for Stephanie Conway, 70, was Wed., Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mrs. Conway died Sat., Dec. 24, 2016, at UAB Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Birmingham to Charles H. Stephens and Sarah Elizabeth Stephens. Mrs. Conway was an English and World History teacher at Hartselle High School for 14 years and a member of the Sparkman Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight W.Conway of Hartselle; a son, Stephen Conway (Jade) of Hartselle; three daughters, Sonya Preuitt (Mike), Tara Hamlett (Kevin) and Tasha McKee, all of Hartselle; a sister, Becky Stephens of Moody; nine grandchildren, Zane Hamlett, Kyle Hamlett, Kenzie Hamlett, Payton Preuitt, Paxton Preuitt, Conner McKee, Seth McKee, Hill Conway and Sarah Chase Conway.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
