What does it take to make you happy? For some a great job, a new home or even a new car. In Ecclesiates we read about a man name Solomon who searched for happiness. As a king, Solomon had everything a person could want but none of it gave him the satisfaction that he was searching for. Often times, we like Solomon, are looking for personal satisfaction. True and lasting happiness comes from pleasing God and a right relationship with him because only God who is infinite and all knowing knows what is best for us.
