Merry Christmas from Hartselle Library
Merry Christmas from Hartselle Library. We had a fantastic Christmas Party. I want to thank all of our parents that took the time out of their busy holiday schedules to bring their children to our Christmas Party and allow us to share a part of their day.
We had a terrific time playing in our “snow.” When the other librarians and I started planning our party we decided we wanted to do something different and fun for the kids. We decided “snow” was just the thing. Of course, we couldn’t bring in real snow, but we found an acceptable substitute. After a good bit of playtime, we settle down for some snacks and stories. In the light of it being 70 degrees on Christmas Day, I’m glad that we did have a little fake snow at our party.
We are very busy at the library and have a great deal things planned for the new year. There are new books arriving and we are doing a bit of re-arranging to make way for new books and programs. Stop by and see what’s changing at your library.
