Funeral for Mary M. Stephenson, 93, will be Wed., Jan. 4, at 12 p.m. at East Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Walter Blackman
officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wed., Jan. 4, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Stephenson died Thur., Dec. 22, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born June 28, 1923, in Morgan County to Luke P. Norris and Alma Beasley Norris.  She was the oldest female charter member of East Highland Baptist Church. She was a business owner of Lawrence Maytag Laundroymat and was a bookkeeper for Mt. Valley Water Authority prior to her retirement.
She is survived by a son, John Larry Stephenson of Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter, Luanne Phillips of Hartselle; four grandchildren,
Shelley Russell, Sean Stephenson, Sasha Stephenson and Erin Mashak (Seth); eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild
Pallbearers will be David Stephenson, Doug Stephenson, Don Stephenson, Danny Stephenson, Chris Stephenson, Rick Stephenson and Allen Drinkard.
