Funeral for Aldean Morgan, 86, was Tues., Oct. 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jackie Kay officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan died Sun., Oct. 9, 2016, at his residence.  He was born
Nov. 19, 1929, in Lawrence County to Clarence Morgan and Mary L. Nelms.
He was a hardworking, Christian man that always wanted to help others. He
was honest, kind and loving to all. Mr. Morgan was a member of the National
Guard, he retired from Fruehauf and after his retirement he drove cars for
dealer tranfers for Lynn Layton Cadillac-Nissan from 1992-2014. He was
preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Marcella Vann and Sadonna
Keith; a grandson, Chad Keith; and two brothers, John L. and Carl Morgan.He is survived by his wife, Frances Roberts Morgan of Decatur; a daughter, Michelle Reding (Barry), of Florence; five sisters, Sue Kilpatrick, Bernice Kunkel, Birches Hill, Mamie Parker and Diane Posey; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Barry Reding, Bryant Reding, Justin Blanchard, Mark
Vann, Darrin Whitworth and Jackie Chambers.
Honorary pallbearer was Heath Blanchard.
