Pamela Banks Holmes

Funeral for Pamela Banks Holmes, 62, of Eva was Thur., May 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Turley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery in Eva.

Ms. Holmes died Mon., May 16, 2016. She was born July 22, 1953, in Cullman County to Thurman Banks and Evelyn Chambers Banks. She was a stay-at-home mom, but was also a Reserve Deputy for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse. She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Banks.

She is survived by a son, Brandon Holmes of North Dakota; a daughter, Cari Smith (Dirk) of Arab; her mother, Evelyn Chambers Banks of Falkville; two brothers, Donnie Banks of Eva and Victor Banks of Cullman; a sister, Marcy Jones of Cullman; and five grandchildren, Christina Cooper, Constance Cooper, Faith Willingham, Gabriel Smith and Dalton Smith.

Pallbearers were members of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse.
