Doiley “June” Suit

Funeral for Doiley “June” Suit, 73, of Valhermoso Springs was Thur., April 28, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Holiness Church with Bro. Jimmy Morrow officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.

Mr. Suit died Mon., April 25, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 3, 1942, in Cullman County to Doiley Thomas Suit and Gladys Annie Geneva Johnson Suit. He was formerly a supervisor for Irwin Forestry Products.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Suit of Valhermoso Springs; six sons, Junior Wayne Suit, William Thomas “Tommy” Suit (Wanda) and Doc Jeremiah “Digger” Suit (Amanda), all of Valhermoso Springs, Doiley Mac Suit (Renee Davis) of Decatur, Leonard Daniel “Bam Bam” Suit (Nicole), of New Hope and Clifford Sam Suit (Heather), Sardis, Miss.; three daughters, Annie Fay “Cookie” Salmon (Cody), and Doris Ann Rice (James), both of Valhermoso Springs and Jeannie Suit Coggins (fiancee – Mike Slovak) of Madison; three stepsons, Michael Ray Gerstman and Billy Joe Gerstman, both of Cullman and William Dale Gerstman of Falkville; a stepdaughter, Jeanette Smith of Falkville; three brothers, Johnsy Suit, Mack Suit, and Michael Suit, all of Valhermoso Springs; a sister, Diane Couch, of Athens; 40 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were J.T. Smith, Cody Smith, Bud Smith, Sam Suit, Doc Suit, Kody McDonald. Tommy Suit and Clifford Walling.
