Michael P. Power

A memorial service for Michael P. Power, 66, of Hartselle was Sat., March 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating.

Mr. Power died Tues., March 15, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 30, 1949, in Connecticut to Keith Power and Theresa Cote Power. Mr. Power was formerly a real estate broker and worked in various management jobs over the years. He loved fishing on the Tennessee River and NASCAR racing. Mr. Power was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served a tour in Vietnam where he worked flight lines. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Power of Hartselle; two sons, Christopher Power of Cullman and Steven Power of Thornton, CO; a daughter, Tasha R. Brown of Parker, CO; two stepsons, Johnny Stone of Meridian, MS and Jamie Stone of West Hollywood, CA; a brother, Dennis Power of Ledyard, CT; and three grandchildren.
