Priceville Bulldogs defeat DAR at home

 

The Priceville Bulldogs defeated Dar 73 -38 on Fri., Dec. 11. After a close first quarter ending with Priceville leading 15-13, the Bulldogs took control of the game in each following quarter.

Priceville scoring leaders were Parker Gwin with 14 points, Brandon Speegle with 11 points and Noah Fortner with 10 points. Also add points were Austin Smith with 9 points, Kyle Haynes with 7 points, and McClain Thompson with 6 points. Brandon Dinh added 6 points, McClain Thompson had 6 points, Marc McLendon had 4 points and Jarred McKelvy had 2 points.

Leading in points for DAR were Tanner Fox with 10 points, Easton Jones with 9 points, Seth Warren with 7 points, Izaak Parker with 5 points, Will Bailey and Dawson Wright with 3 points and Jack Pate with 1 point.

Priceville takes on Danville on Dec. 14 and Brewer on Dec. 15.

 

Priceville loses to Westminster 47-38

 

Priceville Bulldogs had a loss while playing at Westminster on De. 8. The Bulldogs lost by a score of 47-38. Westminster outscored Priceville by 9 points after taking a 11-4 lead in the first quarter.

Priceville leaders included Kyle Haynes with 7 points, 6 assists and 2 steals. Austin Smith had 6 points, Parker Gwin had 15 points, Mark McLendon had 5 points and 7 rebounds and Noah Fortner had 5 points.

Westminster’s leading scorers were Jon Kendall with 18 points, TySean Whitehead with 15 points and Trey Petty with 6 points. Jarrett Murpy scored 5 points, Jackson Kendall had 2 and Larkin Ison had 1 point.
