Geneva (Abbie) Patton

A graveside service for Geneva (Abbie) Patton, 78, of Grand Blanc, Mich., will be Sun., Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Cove Cemetery in Eva with Bro. John Summers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Patton died Tues., Nov. 3, 2015, in Michigan. She was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Barbourville, Ky. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling in the winter to the warm southern climate. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Patton, her parents, Charlie Helton and Elizabeth Mills; brothers, Cecil and Bill Helton.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob Patton; two sons, Robert Patton (Carolyn) of Decatur and David Patton of St. Paul, Texas; a daughter, Donna Summers (John) of Flint, Mich.; two brothers, Cotton Helton and Bobby Mills; special sister and brother-in-law; Perry and Jean Smith of Eva; seven grandchildren, Crystal Patton, Todd Patton, Eric Summers (Shari), Justin Summers (Kristen), Kristen Mills (Roger), Katie Patton and Sam Patton; six great-grandchildren, Jordan and Justin Summers, Kyle Summers, Micah Mills, Madelyn Summers and Noelle Mills.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to cystic fibrosis.
