A graveside service for Ricky G. Barber, 54, of Vinemont will be Sun., Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Bell Springs Cemetery in Falkville, with Chaplain Tony Tidwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sat., Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Barber died Thur., Nov. 5, 2015, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1961, in Morgan County to Edgar Harold Barber and Mary Frances Brown Lawrimore. He was employed by Mayfield Trucking as a truck driver, pipefitter and welder, Ricky also was a veteran. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by three sons, Michael Stansberry of Brunton, Matthew Gene Barber of Falkville and Christopher Wayne Barber of Hartselle; mother, Mary Frances Lawrimore of Vinemont; three brothers, Paul Douglas Barber of Moulton, Steven Wayne Barber and Jody Barber, both of Hartselle; two sisters, Barbara Robinson and Kay Barber; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Jason Brown, Gary Jeffers, Matthew Gene Barber, Adam Terry and Christopher Wayne Barber.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Donna Perry Barber and Eugene Brown.
