FHS falls to Tanner in region matchup

Before Friday night the Blue Devils were 8-0 on the season, but region foe gave FHS their first loss.

Falkville fell to Tanner 68-10. The Blue Devils would score minutes into the opening quarter and not score again in the ball game until a Ryan Sullivan 33-yard field goal with 7:33 to play in forth quarter.

Tanner went on to utilize both the pass and the run game to accumulate 54 points in the first half and two more touchdowns in the second half.

Tanner is ranked first in 2A-Region 6 and ranked fourth in the state out of 59 teams.

Falkville is ranked second in 2A-Region 6 and ranked 11th in the state as of October 23, 2015.

Falkville will travel to Danville for their final regular season game Friday night before playoffs. Tanner will host LaFayette High School.
