Marshall Mooney awarded graduate studies fellowship
A Falkville High School teacher was recently awarded a graduate studies fellowship.
Marshall Mooney, a history teacher, was named as a Buchwald Summer Fellow at the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University in Ohio. Program participants will spend a week studying the writings of the Founding Fathers and discussing the nation’s founding principles identified in the documents. The week is fully funded for the participants, and each one will receive two graduate-level credit hours.
The Ashbrook Center is the only program in the nation to offer a master of arts specifically for history and government teachers. The program is well-known for providing continuing educational programs to middle school and high school government teachers.
