Ruth Freeman

Funeral for Ruth Freeman, 77, of Lacey’s Spring will be Sat., June 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Mattox officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., June 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Freeman died Thur., June 11, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Limestone County to Claude Baugher and Sarah Riddle Baugher. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Freeman and her parents.

She is survived by three sons, Glenn Freeman (Evie) of Lacey’s Spring, Bob Freeman (Cherryle) of Lacey’s Spring and Phil Freeman, Laceys Spring; two daughters, Carmon Black (Stanley) of Union Hill and Carron Cagle (Lem) of Priceville; a brother, Bob Baugher (Net) of Tennessee; two sisters, Myrtle Anne Quick of Huntsville and Claudine Lowd, Florida; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Eric Johnson, Derrick Black, Nick Freeman, Jason Steele, and Josh Freeman.
