James Michael Thompson

A celebration of life for James Michael Thompson, 64, of Apopka, Fla., will be Sat., June 13, at Northside Baptist Church, 413 West Welch Road Apopka, Fla., at 11 a.m.

Mr. Thompson died Mon., June 1, 2015, at Florida Hospital Orlando. He was a retired ironworker, who loved being with his family and friends. He owned and operated J.M. Thompson Construction Inc. in Apopka. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Lavelle Crow Thompson.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pamela Thompson; three sons, Seth Lee Thompson (April Marie), Gerald Wayne Thompson (Rebecca) of Decatur and James Brian Thompson; four grandchildren, Ethan Michael Thompson, Jordan Lee Thompson, Rain Jewel-Ann Thompson and Mace Thompson; and a brother, Myron D. Thompson (Freda) of Hartselle.
